With all the Kindle fire from Amazon rumors, I found this to be most amusing. Gdgt has received some news from a reliable source, which some commenters thought some one from Apple's PR department, the real Kindle fire tablet will come in the first quarter of 2012.
If that the case, I would have named the tablet, Aztec, keeping with the Amazon like theme and 2012, where the Mayan calendar ends. Perhaps Aztec can do something to the Apple empire.
In any case 7" playbook look alike Android Tablet, can eat in to some of the iPad profit, which some sources say already in a slump.

Promo BlackBerry Yang Menggiurkan di JCC Senayan

Kemarin hari minggu, 12 Juni 2011, saya jalan-jalan ke
JCC, Senayan mau lihat pameran ponsel dan komputer di sana.  Karena di sana sebenarnya sedang ada
International Communication Expo & Conference (ICC), yaitu pameran ponsel
dari tanggal 8 sampai 12 Juni kemarin.

Harga tiket masuknya seperti biasa kok, kalau kita mau
masuk, beli tiketnya seharga Rp 5000 untuk hari senin sampai dengan jum’at.
Tapi kalau hari sabtu sama minggu, jadinya harga tiketnya naik, yaitu seharga
Rp 15.000, yah karena saya baru taunya hari sabtu, makanya saya hari minggunya
kesana. Jadi saya harus bayar Rp 15.000 deh buat masuknya aja, hehehe…

Tapi tenang aja, dengan tiket masuk seharga itu, kita
nggak bakalan nyesel, soalnya ajang pameran ponsel ini sangat asik banget.
Acaranya seru, dijamin kalau kalian ikut, kalian nggak bakal nyesel, SPG nya
juga cantik-cantik semua, hahaha…. Banyak promo dan hiburan lainnya buat kita,
seperti games, lelang ponsel bagus, dan hiburan lain.

Saya melihat salah satu ponsel kelas dunia ada dalam
ajang pameran ponsel kali ini, yaitu BlackBerry. BlackBerry di JCC ini,
harganya murah-murah banget, karena lagi ada promo kan. Ada banyak promo yang
ditawari saat ajang pameran ini, misalnya aja kalau kita beli BlackBerry 8520
yang harganya sebesar Rp 1.999.000, kita dapat souvenir atau hadiah langsung
dari mereka, yaitu voucher asesoris sebesar Rp 100.000. lumayan kan, selain
harga ponselnya yang murah, dan juga mereka kasih kita hadiah langsung, enak
banget.

Di BlackBerry juga saya dengar mau dipersiapkan gadget
terbaru mereka, yaitu Tablet PC BlackBerry PlayBook. Hmm, tapi kemarin di
pameran saya belum liat ada Tablet PC ini, emang katanya belum ada juga. Saya
yakin dengan kehadiran BlackBerry PlayBook, maka BlackBerry akan semakin kuat
untuk pemasaran ponsel. Khususnya untuk para pecinta BlackBerry..

RIM Recalls About 1000 Blackberry Playbooks

According to an statement posted on Crackberry, RIM is recalling about 1000 Blackberry Playbooks. The reason seem to be a bad build of the tablet OS which seem to render the tablet unusable.

RIM determined that approximately one thousand BlackBerry PlayBook tablets (16 GB) were shipped with an OS build that may result in the devices being unable to properly load software upon initial set-up.
The majority of the affected devices are still in the distribution channel and haven't reached customers. RIM is working to replace the affected devices.
In the small number of cases where a customer received a PlayBook that is unable to properly load software upon initial set-up, they can contact RIM for assistance. 

Crackberry also has a list serial numbers that are affected. Follow the link to see if yours is recalled. It seems that these faulty tablets were shipped to Staples Inc stores.
